Bloomers  Bloomers Gardening – Meet monthly to learn more about horticulture through lectures, workshops and visits to gardens in and out of state.   Sue Stoll

Bridge  Bridge– Meet first and third Tuesdays, Wednesday daytime or couple’s evening on third Saturdays at members’ home. Dianne Batch or Shirley Holland

Gourmet  Couples Gourmet – Food enthusiasts prepare six dinners at 6:30pm on selected Saturday’s to enjoy along with stimulating discussions. Janice Acker

Symphony  Detroit Symphony – Series of six or twelve, Meet at the Holiday Inn on Northline & I-75 at 9:30am and carpool to Friday Coffee Concerts and enjoy lunch!           Our AAUW conductor: Mary Sue Sickafus

Euchre  Euchre – It’s engaging, it’s electrifying, it’s EUCHRE! Meet at Indian Lanes in Riverview twice a month at 6:15pm. Doree Miller

Great Decisions Great Decisions – Study important current world issues at the Southgate Library on fourth Tuesdays in alternate months at 7:00pm. Jean Carnahan

Literature  Daytime Literature – Join the group that travels the literary world every first Friday of the month at 1:00pm at various locations. Sheila White

Literature 1  Evening Literature – If evening reading is your thing, travel across the literary world each fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm at the Southgate Library on alternate months.  Jean Carnahan

Matinee mamas  Matinee Mamas – Get together the last Monday of every month meeting in the MJR lobby or the Emagine Theater for the first show (usually about 11:00 am). At that point we will decide which show to go to. Lynn Strain

Meet and Eat  Meet “N” Eat – Meets 7:00pm on third Tuesday at homes or selected restaurants. Dianne Batch

Needle Arts  Needle Arts – ‘Everything Legal with a Needle’ meets in members homes on third Friday’s at 9:30am with lunch afterwards. Carol Sniderman

Playgoers  Playgoers – Meet for a noon brunch at the Holiday Inn and carpool to the Fisher Theatre for the Sunday matinee series. We have tickets for Sunday, October 26 to see ‘Motown -The Musical.’ Contact Jean Carnahan for more details.

Woman of the Year Woman of the Year Committee – Forms from October through March to organize this annual event to recognize the nominee that has continued to provide selfless service to the Downriver Community.
